I have some mixed feelings for this one. I liked this one but it also felt like it didn’t keep my attention in some places. I think that was mostly down to me being wrapped up in the other book that I was reading at the same time.

I really liked that Foster was out as bisexual (at least at his college and to his hockey team) and was so completely smitten with nerdy, sweet Zach. I loved that they had a really great banter together and that they were both so determined to not mess around with each other for the sake of Seth (Zach’s bff and Fosters twin brother). I also loved that Seth was hesitant about them getting together at first but was onboard once he saw them together. This was sweet and steamy and I think I’m giving this four stars.

Eigentlich habe ich mit Sport und besonders Eishockey eigentlich nicht viel am Hut, aber der Trend hat mich dann doch gereizt.

Kopf, Herz und Eishokey war so eine schöne Geschichte, ohne viel unnötiges Drama.
Die Entwicklung von Zach fand ich besonders schön zu sehen. Wie er durch Foster mehr aus sich heraus kommen konnte, aber dass er trotzdem von ihm so akzeptiert wird wie er ist und sich nicht grundlegend verändern soll.

Foster war so ein sympathischer Charakter und hat alles gegeben, um dafür zu sorgen, dass sich Zach wohl und nicht gedrängt fühlt. Auch, dass er direkt dass Gespräch gesucht hat, wenn Zach sich wegen seinen Unsicherheiten zurück gezogen hat, fand ich toll.

Einen Stern habe ich abgezogen, weil es mir ab der Hälfte etwas zu viel um Sex ging. Fast jedes Treffen der beiden hat dazu oder ähnlichem geführt. Für meine Geschmack war es zu viel, aber für andere vielleicht genau das richtige.

YO, THERE IS AN AROACE CHARACTER WITH RESTING BITCH FACE

Ok, surprisingly I don't have particularly strong feelings about the book?? Probably because right before this I read another jock/nerd romance. But this one has more things I like. I don't know, I probably should read romance only once in a while or else I get indifferent towards the books. This feels like 3 stars but I added extra star for Ray, not gonna lie.

And to be honest there's another book that is "my best friend's sibling/my sibling's best friend" trope that has the exact same plot but written better and I couldn't stop compare the two? Plus, the whole deal of the romance genre is the pattern, so. There is only so much my aroace ass can take.
