Es war einfach zu gut, um zu widerstehen! Aber dafür muss ich jetzt ein ganzes Jahr warten, bis Teil drei rauskommt.

Aber leider auch ein beschissenes Ende, nämlich einen CLIFFHANGER.

A perfect sequel to A Darker Shade of Magic.
I really enjoyed getting to know the characters better and seeing different aspects of their personalities, as well as meeting new ones.
The atmosphere created by the Element Games means that in this tome we discover more about the magic system and politics in Red London, seeing magicians compete with different approaches and beliefs when it comes to magic.
I enjoyed the building tension throughout the book, and I'm glad I had already purchased the third and final tome in the trilogy as it leaves you on a breath-taking cliff-hanger!
The only downside is a few typos throughout the Kindle edition - notably "Arnes" which is often typed as "Ames".
