Trigger Warnings include:
death of parents, trauma/grief

She's going to destroy me, this woman, I can feel it. And Iā€™m more than willing to let her; Iā€™ll probably destroy her the same way in return.

Iā€™ve never had a thing for a surfer before. But thereā€™s always a first time for everything! Thereā€™s a lovely unwritten rule that the baby sisters are off limits. Jake will be the first one to tell you that a stupid rule like that could never keep him from looking at his rivalā€™s little sister. Especially knowing it riled him up! Eden is a model for one of Jakeā€™s sponsors, and she travels with her brother Zeke. So her and Jake not only see each other all the time, but they have developed their very own pre-competition ritual. Besides that and the occasional crossing of paths on the beach, theyā€™re just kind of in each otherā€™s vicinity. They have such great banter, which builds even better sexual tension! They werenā€™t enemies, but he IS the enemy, and sheā€™s off limits. One night, Jake saves her. And after that night, their bond is undeniable. When Jake has the opportunity to have Eden all to himself, he takes it. And as they say, the rest is history. Eden finds comfort and trust in Jake. He changes her. Helps her feel whole again. Safe. Jake isnā€™t as cocky as everyone makes him out to be. He absolutely has a soft center, even if it is just for Eden and his little brother. Between how sweet he is, his dirty mouth, and his cocky arrogance ways out of the beach, I swooned entirely too much for that man. And donā€™t get me started on the bond between Jake and his brotherā€¦my ovaries are just about as weak as Edenā€™s!

Another great story from the calendar boys and i have to say that this book may be my favourite because of the enemies to lovers plot and also because the author has made a great job in showing that there's always more than a pretty face and a hot body to a guy.
I enjoyed so much their banter, even if at times seemed silly for their age, it had me laughing out loud and with it, you could feel the chemistry and the sparks between them.
There are rules that are meant to be broken because sometimes the heart doesn't care about anything and when Jake set his mind to have what he wants and won't stop at anything till he gets Eden, she has no choice or say in this because she learns the hard way that he's much more than the eye can see, he has a heart full of love for the important persons in his life and he wants her to be part of his life.
Decisions are hard to take but as usual, we don't think with our brain at times and the heart will take over our lives.
Can't wait to read more of these great characters and calendar boys that the author has created so beautifully and everyone should read these books where the front seat is taken by love in any situation given.

Nicole Goodin is a new to me author and I am hooked! I canā€™t wait to read more from her in the future.
This is a sports/forbidden romance, which happen to be two of my favorite tropes so I was super excited to dive right into this story.

Jake Carson is a pro surfer and at the top of his game, his biggest competition is Zeke Brady. Jake also loves to get under the skin of Zekeā€™s baby sister, Eden. His cocky attitude drives Eden nuts and the two of them donā€™t know whether to love or hate each other.

Jake comes across as a cocky jerk, but the more Eden got to know him, especially after ā€œworkingā€ with him, the more you learn he isnā€™t a jerk, though still somewhat cocky. There is more to the man than what the public sees.

I loved Jake and Edenā€™s relationship from their chemistry to their banter. Jake helping Eden overcome her fear was hands down the sweetest thing ever and had me swooning over the man.

I loved this story from start to finish and I canā€™t wait to read the rest of the calendar series.

Who doesn't like a little forbidden love with your brothers
biggest rival? Well Eden sure does! Ugh these two were so
much fun and loved how Jake was so into Eden even
though he shouldn't be.

Jake is Eden's brothers rival on the surfing circuit. And
Jake loves getting under his skin considering he's the best
of the best, and when he sets his eye on Eden he's all in.
Eden wants nothing and everything to do with Jake. He's
hot, cocky and so arrogant but when she sees him with his
little brother he's a whole different person. And when she
gets to know him even more she learns then there is much
more than the facade he puts on. I loved these two so
much! And once again wish we had more of them!

Jake competes against Zeke and heā€™s sister is gorgeous, but sheā€™s also part of the baby sisterā€™s club and untouchable or so all the brothers think. Sheā€™s been away two year and sheā€™s definitely all woman now.
Eden hates Jake or so she tries to tell herself, heā€™s her brother rival and doesnā€™t care what anyone thinks. Her brother admits that the rivalry is more about Jake wanting her, which Eden doesnā€™t believe Jake is gorgeous and can have any woman he wants.
They hate each other, but the sparks are there, and something changes when Jake saves her, when sheā€™s thrown in the sea and wants to know what happened and she refuses to tell him.
Jakes determined to find out what Eden is afraid of and makes it so she canā€™t get out of talking to him, will she tell him her secrets, but what Jake learns is looking at her wonā€™t be enough, Eden starts to see a different side to Jake, and realises she may just be falling for the enemy. What happens when Jake realises he doesnā€™t want to let her go, her brother hates him who will she choose.

Mr May by Nicole. S. Goodin is book 5 in the Calendar Boys series.
Itā€™s a contemporary, enemies to lovers romance riddled with banter and humour.
Jake plays the cocky surfer brilliantly. He was the perfect mix of arrogance and sincerity.
Eden was great as the independent, flawed and antagonising sister-of-the-enemy.
I have been enjoying this series so much and each book gets better and better. I love a good enemies to lovers so this one sits high up on my list but they have all been great. They can all be read as standalones, but itā€™s great to see how they all come together.

Sheā€™s gone and done it again! I thought for sure that Beckett was my favourite, but now Iā€™m crushing on Jake, hard!

Jake is the cocky surfer who can have any girl he wants, well, almost. Thereā€™s a code that his surfer buddies live by ā€“ sisters are off limits. But when his arch rivalā€™s sister comes back on tour with them, and sheā€™s all grown up, he canā€™t help but notice her. Steering clear isnā€™t too hard though ā€“ because sheā€™s not exactly welcoming towards him. Until, something happens that he canā€™t get out of his head. He needs an explanation, and sheā€™s hell bent on keeping him in the dark.

Itā€™s one of those will they, wonā€™t they kinda stories, and itā€™s filled with sarcastic humour and witty comebacks. I love the easy going way of life they lead. The friendships forged over years of tours are pretty solid too, and it almost makes me yearn for that kind of life ā€“ laid back, stress free. I felt as though I was right there on the beach with them, and thatā€™s not easy to do.

Once again, Iā€™m blown away with how much I love these characters. I canā€™t wait to see what happens next month!
