Okay so usually I read a lot farther than 30% before I give up on a book all together but I hated everything about this book. I LOVED the first book of this series "Prick" so I thought I would enjoy this one but I just didn't. I am not a huge fan of the whole stepbrother romance thing. If I find an author, like Sabrina Paige, that I like and she has them I will read them but I don't go seeking them out. The guy, Gaige, in this book was too much of an asshole. In the first book..I can't remember the guys name but he was a prick sure but he didn't take it too far. I feel like there is a line of how much of an asshole a guy can be before I hate him and Gaige crossed it from the very start.
This book has Gaige's POV, which I freaking love when books have both POVs, but in this case it made me think less of Gaige and not more. He was an asshat in Delaney POV so I was hoping to get idk a reason or maybe that he still felt things.. but no... he did it just to be an asshole. The only real thing I got from him was that he hated the "image" the world has for him, a tool: no woman can claim him, he can't drive fast enough, he can't drink enough.. and you know the typical playboy image. okay.. here is where my problem with him started. He says he hates it but it is exactly what he is. He talks about how he was missing the parties, the girls and the alcohol.(he's at home because of an accident) So he WAS the person. He says that if Delaney hadn't come in he would have had a threesome with the models he was with.. Again he IS the "image" that he bitches about hating. So I just don't like him.
Or maybe I just wasn't in the mood to read about an asshole? Who knows. Im not going to rate the book because obviously I didn't finish it and can't make a fair rating but it just didn't work for me. I may pick the book up like way later but right now I don't see that happening. I might just move on to the next book in the series and hope it isn't like this one.

A little better than Prick, but still the pacing was off. I didn't really connect to either main characters. A mindless read.

3.5* An enjoyable read, a little slow for me to start with and I didn't enjoy it as much as Prick, but if your looking for a pretty angst free story and are a fan of forbidden romance then you are sure to like this.

*4.5 stars* Yes, it's another stepbrother book but I loved it. Gaige and Delaney's chemistry is hot and it's a great read. He's a biker guy (who doesn't love those?) and they reconnect after 4 years of not seeing each other. It's not cheesy and I'm looking forward to reading more of Sabrina's work :)

There’s a trend I did my best to avoid lately.
Seems like every author and their mother are going at great length to publish their own step-siblings taboo smut story.I never noticed this kind of trend before. I mean, why all of the mat the same time? Why the sudden interest into this particular sibling "interdit"?
To be honest, I’m not a fan of the idea. Or more precisely I’m not a fan of the constant flow of come hither "incest" under disguise. Except in most of these books, that is no incest that it is about, since most of the time, siblings aren’t blood related at all… But it sure pulls that particular string of "forbidden" romance…
That being said, this book was recommended to me by a few friends who've read Sabrina Paige’s 'Prick' and thought it was good —in a smutty and light way, good— and entertaining and that it would please my perverted side.
Okay, then, I’m all for that!

I read this one super fast, let me be clear that it was indeed a no brainer, but Sabrina Paige’s writing was engaging and sucked me right into Delaney and Gaige story. I went into this expecting little to nothing and was agreeably surprised to enjoy myself.
Now please, calm your tits.
In the history of Fiction, we’ve seen worse than step siblings falling for each others and everything is alright. After all, Gaige is not blood related to Delaney. His mother and Delaney’s father got together a few yeas back when Gaige was 17 and Delaney 15. They both fought their mutual attraction back then, some misunderstanding putting an end to their almost " relationship"…
Now, I wouldn’t say the same about… You know… Er…
Anyway. Let’s talk about Gaige.
Gage is now 22 and a motorcycle racer, he is hot, famous and surprised to see Delaney coming back "home" from college.
He’s your typical cocky hero. He excelled at dirty talk and had this playful banter going on throughout the book. I couldn’t help liking him the most. He kept showing soft sides of him (NOT THAT soft side. No one is interested in THIS soft side.) and you could see that he was just an asshole in disguise.
Or maybe I liked him most because of the obvious.

He’s still very interested in Delaney, and now that’s she’s back, he only has one thing in mind…
Delaney’s back to Dallas and starts working at her father’s oil company where her job will partly consist to take care of Gage’s public relations.
She, on the other hand… She got on my nerves quickly.
I didn’t buy her prim and proper act. She downright annoyed me when she continuously tried to reject Gaige with same excuse all over again. She had one or two good come back but otherwise she was pretty subdued…
A huge part of her doesn’t want anything to do with Gaige, but the other one, the tiny one, and maybe the strongest… Wants just this ONE thing.
Now Gaige + Delaney, that was exciting!
I loved their sibling bickering, especially the stupid welcome back present Gaige offered Delaney.
Tool was a very fun read, granted it was focused on the smut side, but it made for a diverting and sexy time. The sex scenes were scorching hot, and Tool certainly delivered.

Delaney Marlowe is finally back in Texas. She has accepted a job offer from her father at Marlowe Oil and is eager to start. What she doesn’t expect is to see Gaige at her father’s house. They shared a summer fling four years earlier and she almost made the huge mistake of giving herself to him, until she learned exactly how much of a player he really was. Angry and heartbroken, she left, went off to college and hasn’t seen him since, until now.
Like Prick, this book is about adult step-siblings who have found they share a strong sexual desire for each other. Tool was similar to Prick in many ways. The protaganists share the same desire that some consider taboo, but find a way to be together. Both male alphas are just dirty man-whores who are turned on by the only good girls in their lives.
The taboo aspect of the series was intriguing during the first book, but became blasé halfway through this book. Delaney and Gaige are fun characters and their relationship is uncomfortable as Delaney tries to come to terms with her attraction for Gaige. I found both characters pretty predictable, yet still enjoyable. The Anya and Chelsea characters were total bitches, and I don’t understand why the guys mothers in both books so far are so damned nasty. I was surprised that Delaney’s father accepted their relationship so easily. I thought for sure that Gaige was in for an ass whupping.
I enjoyed reading Prick and Tool, and will read Cannon, but the whole step-sibling in love thing maybe should have just been one book instead of a series. I hope Cannon is going to have something amazingly different to change my mind. Oh…and I loved the dominant dirty talk that is a thread through this series. So damned titillating! While the theme is getting a bit worn, this is still an entertaining read, if for nothing but the hot sex scenes. If you are looking for a little bit of naughty, and do not mind the theme, this is the series for you.
