I would end up on 'Women Who Kill' for Lucas. I'd kill anyone who got into fucking way for this man.
Sensitive, caring, loving, creative, gorgeous, there just isn't enough adjectives to describe h and his awesomeness.
And the way he is with Ivy is totally swoon worthy.
I love this series but Lucas is the best and you'd be a fool not to read it.

Swoon! This one was my favorite so far. If you can't tell, I am completely bingereading these books. This one was so heartfelt and I completely fell in love with the characters. I swooned so much and I completely engrossed myself in this story. I definitely can't wait for more!

Really enjoyed this book until 85%, it was at this point that all the characters did things that seemed out of character to them. The daughter turned into an absolute evil mental head case. The fmc not hearing out the mmc was extremely frustrating. At this point they were engaged, so it was even more annoying to listen to considering the mmc tried to lay it all out. If this is the conflict this author uses then I don’t think I will read any other books.

Not bad, enjoyable and well paced. I don’t normally gravitate toward the “perfect man” MMCs. I liked the FMC though.

I understand not wanting to spoil the plot, but this book needs some serious trigger warnings!!!! It was a great read (loved the characters, the spice, all that was great!) until 75% of the way through and lots of trauma that readers should be somewhat forewarned about.
Child character death?!? I mean, I am fine with characters dying but warn a girl if there’s gonna be kids (or animals) dying. (No animal death in this book, just included that as something that is also very traumatic).

Lukas, who would have known what a softie he was going to turn out to be. You do read about him and Ivy in the previous books but only is small details. Lukas has to be my favorite so far. He has a lot in his past that made him feel abandoned and unloved, so him finding something with Ivy was just so sweet.

It is not without it's drama though. You finally get to read about how they met, and how they started up their relationship. You also learn about Ivy's ex and the damage he did to her confidence. The ending was really messed up, in a I can't look away kind of way. It leaves Ivy in a really tough spot but also breaks Lukas' heart.

Finding their way back together was not easy, I don't know if I could have forgiven as easily.
