Couldn't be the first time an epic battle turned a little disappointing. After all, the twilight saga did it first. But I'm in for the fey realm and I still feel that the first book in the series had more immersion into the land of faeries than any other book. The dragons did threaten much fear in the supposedly epic battle even half as much as when they were woken.
Always liked Puck and this book is no different. Maybe I find too much comfort in the cold and darkness but Unseelie Court is so the place for me and honestly I feel like this book could have done much better in portraying the Dark Queen. Mortal world though well advanced kind of sucks especially the adults. And Roy Lassiter even if he redeemed himself at the end is hella annoying. And jennet though deemed strong doesn't feel like a strong character to me, nor does Marny.

Is it weird that the only characters I liked were both fey? 4 stars just for Puck, though I liked the changeling too. Not a bad book but it didn't blow me away either. Still its interesting enough that even a non gamer like myself would in future take up rpg games and would love to go on quests. And if I get trapped in the fey realm, well now, that's a bonus, isn't it?

I liked the story however I felt that this last book was rushed. It just didn't have the gumption I expected. Everything resolved rather quickly, and easily for as dangerous and complicated as the other 2 books made it seem. Tam and Jennet were likable but I feel like after 3 books I should know them, and I don't.

I absolutely loved this collection of the first three books in the Feyland series and am looking forward to the next book. They are of a relatively new genre, RPG lit, and the best I have read thus far. If you play video games you will love them but you don't have to play in order to understand the story plot. And the plot is full of action, adventure, danger, conflicts and many of the other exciting things that could happen in a different world or realm.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
