Whoa this series us really heating up now. Intense and utterly addictive. The scene with Brie's parents kind of made me a little heartsick - poor Thane - no matter what they thought they should have least been respectful. Finding out the details of what happened with his parents was so sad. My opinion of Rystar altered slightly in this one - from the original series he came across as quite caring and gentle but a sadist... really..... That cat-o-9 scene was bordering on brutal - permanent marks, tears and screams not so sexy. But he redeemed himself slightly with the scene he played out with Brie and Sir. Interested to find out the specifics of the little bit of gossip re the dreaded Ms Clark and Rystar. But why did it have to end like that... Now I have to read the next one immediately to find out why they have to rush home and why Brie's life is about to "change forever". Argh! Totally addicted to Thane and Brie's story.

OMG, I have said it before and I will continue to say that Red Phoenix is AMAZING!!! This section is super hot and sexy....then that cliffhanger, REALLY!! Oh yeah can't wait for adventure......
