Typical cheesy romance book. Took me a while to get into it and even halfway through, I had to force myself to finish because it wasn't a page turner for me.

Dylan Newton has become a must read author after reading All Fired Up. It’s the Perfect summer read that had my heart soaring in delight. Similar in style to Abby Jimenez, I loved how she was able to not only have banter amongst the couple…but also highlighted all the characters in the book. Highly recommend.

After Imani’s best friends wedding, the grooms brothers and her had a couple nights of fun. Fast forward 9 months later, they reunite again for that couples gender reveal.
Imani is all business when it comes to her life and her future. Zander, her counterpart, is as laid back as they come. He lives his life in the now and prefers to now worry about tomorrow.
Can two people who are set in there way be open for the possibility that there way may not be the only way?

Thank you to Forever and Grand Central Publishing for my gifted review copy.

I read almost this entire book in one sitting and it was so fun! This author was likened to Abby Jimenez and I can see why- such relatable characters, friendship, a sweet romance, and lots of subtle life lessons. I enjoyed this sweet and fun romance and the reminder of living in the moment being my favorite storyline.

The two narrators did a wonderful job bringing this story to life and I highly recommend reading this title via audiobook as well.

I was also excited to see the announcement of a sequel - I’ll definitely be back to see where the author takes these characters next!

Thank you Net Galley & Publisher for the ARC copy in exchange for my honest review.

4.5 rounding up to 5! Great second chance romance!

I was unsure of this one going in because book one was just ok for me. This one totally redeemed this author for me! I absolutely loved it! The characters, the story, the ending...all of it! I will say I love the The Matthews brothers far more than the female leads. I simply can not wait for Ryker's book!

This series won’t blow your skirt up, but they’re light and satisfying reads. I liked this one better than book one and look forward to closing the series out. 👍🏻

I really enjoyed this book! All Fired Up made me laugh out loud and pulled at my heart strings all at the same time! I absolutely loved these characters. Imani and Zander were so different and I found myself relating to both. Gigi and Lancelot were an absolute delight and were hot to steal the spotlight. Then, the end of the book pushed it over the top! What a treat. Dylan went the extra mile to give us the recipe for the star dish and the directions for May-I! I had marked those as things to look up but of course, Dylan, wouldn't leave us hanging. I'm am really looking forward to Ryker's book!

"No matter if you're gardening or sorting baby diapers, do it with a full heart. Because nothing is guaranteed other than right now."

I remember having a wonderful time reading How Sweet It Is, so I was excited when I discovered it was going to be a series involving the different Matthews brothers. I've had All Fired Up on my TBR ever since it was published, and I'm still not sure why it has taken me this long to finally pick it up... But this story ended up coming at the exact right time for me, and this was the perfect dose of cute and mainly uplifting second-chance slowburn romance. This book can technically be read as a stand-alone as it features a different Matthews brother, but the couple featured in the first book is very present in this sequel so I would personally recommend reading them in order. Both books are perfect if you like your romances on the sweet side! The story uses a dual POV structure, switching between Imani and Zander as we see their connection grow. This is a true slowburn romance, so if that's not your cup of tea than this story might not be for you... There is some steam later on, but easily skipped if you are not a fan of sexy scenes. The main characters were easy to warm up to, and I loved the cast in general. Sure, a certain stubbornness could get a bit frustrating, as it was SO obvious that the two were made for each other... Things can also be said about the ending being a bit too much of a 180 change, but somehow it ended up working for this story. I had an excellent time reading All Fired Up, and I can't wait to get a copy of the third book featuring Ryder.

Imani and Zander had a wekeend of debauchery together when their respective best friend and brother got married a year ago. Imani ended up ghosting Zander and instead of forgetting about her, Zander is still hoping to get a chance to woo Imani and have a first date. Now, Imani is in town to take care of her grandmother, and spend time with Kate before she gives birth. Zander knows their connection could last more than a fling, but Imani isn't so sure; Zander lives in the now, and Imani needs to plan and control everything, it would never work between them. But the one thing going for Zander is his perseverance, and he won't stop until Imani looks his way.
I liked it but the first book was better. If only it were that easy to get your life together....
Their chemistry was palpable, but the sex scene left much to be desired; I'd rather not have it if that's what I'm going to read. I didn't like the MCs much, but I guess I can see them together. I'm excited to read Ryker's story next though.
