Really interesting and well informed book. As a Canadian it was amazing to read the history of MAiD in the country, the international comparisons, and the evolution of the policies. This book was more memoir than I expected, but was good to read how this work impacted the author and changed the path of her career.
The writing was direct but repetitive and I  felt like there were some interesting themes and topics that Dr. Green didn’t really address. Overall, an enjoyable read that wasn’t too bogged down with medical jargon and worth picking up especially if you’re Canadian.
