Ok honestly I was quite shocked by this book- it definitely had some ups and down but by the end I enjoy all the characters and as definitely interested to see what happens next!!

My main criticism is that I felt in the middle of the book there was a lot of dead air

Despite the campy/cheesy dialogue, rushed world building and overall mediocre deployment, I found this easy read kind of amusing.

It’s like Wheel of Fortune, I think I know how this is going to play out, but I’m going to spin again on Book 2 to see if I’m right.

Dyna, a young healer is set on helping her people with a very dangerous mission. Leave her village and seek a certain something that will banish the evil force, a Shadow Demon, that keeps coming back killing innocent lives.

This story has incredible world building and flows quite well. I was a little worried with the POVs but you really get to understand each character so the POVs are effortless in following.

Dyna sneaks out of her village into the Forbidden Forest and quickly comes face to face with Celestials. A kind that she had no idea even existed.
We meet Prince Cassiel. He finds humans stupid but decides to save her since she’s clearly not a hunter… and we meet Dyna’s cousin. A wolf shifter… Zev.

We realize this mission to a secret location will be much harder than anyone thought.

YA Romance.
Action Packed.
Blood Blonds
Accidental bonding.
Celestials, shifters, ogres, fae, and more.
Touch her and die vibes

Normally I don’t read YA but I found the amount of action, tension, and world building was incredible that I kept reading without a stop or break. The writing is fantastic and the story flows so well. I’m very eager to start book two! 4.5⭐️

Through the masterful storytelling of the author, the world of Urn comes alive with vivid detail, its history and lore weaving seamlessly into their journey. Despite the dangers that lurk at every turn, they are driven forward by a sense of purpose and a determination to protect those they hold dear. This is more than just a story—it is a testament to the power of courage, friendship, and the enduring strength of the human heart.

So captivating! I am so invested in so many characters within this book! Wish it went on for longer but now means there’s more books to come!!
