I loved Everyday (the first book of this series). So I snatched up Someday without thinking. Hoping for the same awesomeness David Levithan delivers in the first book. Boy I was wrong.

I feel like A posses me on my body when I reading Someday. And when I woke up on my own self, I have no idea what is going on. Nor remember that I read Someday. In Someday, the story gets more and more tangle. I do not know who is possessing who. And its getting difficult to keep track of whats is going on.

At the end, I just want to close this book and be done with it. I managed to finish it but I also feel exhausted after reading this. I am also sad that Someday does not meet my expectation. I just wish Mr Levithan just leaves it like that on Everyday.

Someday was a nice conclusion to Every Day, especially because it gave at least some answers to A and A's life. However, there were also many questions - even at the end.

I like the themes of this story, but the "villain" aspect was too cheesy.

Very emotional teen drama. Good read, just not what I want right now.

Every time David Levithan puts out a new book it reminds me why he is my favorite author. This sequel did a great job at answering a lot of the questions I had from the end of the first book (which was wrapped up in a way where it was ok it didn’t have a sequel but I was immensely happy that it did end up with one) but continuing the story in a way that felt natural.

It also made me question myself as a human person which is always slightly painful but in my opinion, good art is supposed to make you feel something even if that something is hurt.

I feel bad for A to be so close to many answers and to have to rip them away from yourself for the good of others but I think it was an admirable choice to make. Rhiannon coming into herself was the most confusing for me but I think I was as confused as she was so maybe it was written well for a reread.

Nathan and Alexander are my boys!!! I would die for them! They have their moments of vulnerability as well but I’m genuinely glad they ended up where they did. I was also very happy with the short pieces written from the perspectives of others like A and X. It gave me a more rounded view of what it was like for them and answered even more of my questions. Best side plot of the book: Peter and Liam. I was YELLING at the book when their story was resolved! Just heart bursting with joy happy for these two and it only took a few pages for me to fall in love with them both. Mini novella for the two of them PLEASE.

All in all, I have loved this series and this book with my whole heart. I look forward to reading it many more times.

I wanted to love this, even though I thought Every Day should have ended more cleanly, without need of a sequel. While this book answered some questions, it did so mostly by engaging its main characters in long discussions full of either pontification, platitudes, or overly mature statements for teenagers to make. It got less enjoyable as the book went on and the talking grew longer.
