Narration: 5/5

Grace and Cash meet and immediately feel an attraction. They have a vacation fling and return home. Grace continues to go through her divorce while working as a matchmaker. Guess who walks into her office in need of a wife? Cash. Neither of them are ready for what’s next.

Why did I wait for this duet?!  I’m so mad at myself. How have I been missing out on Cash James this whole time? I honestly thought this was going to be a story with affairs or a love triangle and I didn’t want that. Jokes on me!  I have been depriving myself of this world for 2 years!

Everytime Cash called her Gracie was so precious. These two worked so hard to not be together even through they were inevitable. One would push and the other would pull. Just when they had it figured out, they’d hit another roadblock.

The narration was perfection. If it was a whisper, gasp, yell, moan, groan you could hear that from Joe and Lucy. If the text said “he chuckled” then we got to hear a chuckle.

I was sucked into this book so fast. These characters are unhinged. They both keep things from each other & constantly lie to one another. Some people may be put off by it but I feel as if it's what makes this story so good. I'm a fan of toxic relationships in stories and that's exactly what this is. And lets talk about the cliff hanger it ends on! It had me screaming and grabbing book two immediately!

Cash and Grace’s relationship was everything but convenient and easy.
These two fell in love without knowing who exactly they were or how they were going to play a role in each others life once returning home from the weekend getaway. This book left me hanging off the cliff wanting more!!!
