An anthology of short horror stories from a collection of different authors.

This was a fun collection, great to kill a bit of time with. Many of the stories struck the nostalgic tone with me, making me think of Goosebumps and Mary Downing Hahn, some were darker, some were funny, and some you felt like you've read before. But that's the fun of short stories, there's always something for everyone. These stories were well written and edited, nothing yanking me from each story presented.

Admittedly, the end story made me roll my eyes a bit. It started out well but I think this is one of those pieces of work where you see the short story aspect being a detriment. If it had more time to grow and develop and the relationship between the kid and counselor expanded upon, it would have been better. Instead it felt rushed with too much of a need to suspend your disbelief.

But this was an exception for me in the book, not the rule of thumb. Overall, the stories kept my attention and were an enjoyable read. I'll likely be checking out more of the series.

Mixture of high-quality horror to schlocky horror. All entertaining.

Really well written stories. Each story has a perfect ending and they are all different. Loved it. I'm excited to read more volumes.

This collection of spooky tales will keep you on the edge of your seat from page one! It was an amazing read, and the authors did not disappoint with their stories! I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series!

Night terrors is the first of several scary anthologies. I enjoyed most of the tales in this book though I wouldn't say they were terrifying. I'm giving 4 stars because of the creativeness of the tales. However can't reach that 5th star because there were a couple stories that just simply made no sense and shouldn't have been included in a book regarding terror.

That all being said, I will likely check out the others in the series as a quick read, but if they're anything like this I may stop after book two. Fingers crossed it only gets better.
