A murder mystery set in Minnesota with enough twists to keep me engaged and interested.  I like that it is set in a midwestern town as I feel familiar with the setting and can concentrate on the other aspects of the story.

Audiobook
This one requires you to suspend disbelief - there are some crazy twists and turns. It was entertaining though.

The first book in this series was by far my favorite.  I've been listening to the audiobook and the narrator isn't great. He isn't horrible, but not fabulous. If the narrator is better that might change the rating for me. In general I like all the characters although I became extremely annoyed at Cork when he goes against Jo's wishes and starts asking questions about something he shouldn't be. Her reasoning makes perfect sense to me and Cork thinking that he knows better is incredibly annoying. But I will give him a pass as all in all he is a likable character. I did have an inkling of who the murderer was, but I wasn't definite. I will finish out this series.
