Great start to a new series

This is a great read. I really enjoyed this book. I think Vesper is a great MC and I loved Deimos.

I also like the world being built in this series.

I am definitely looking forward to the next book and recommend it.

While I loved the world this author was trying to build, it seemed to be missing or jumping time/dialog throughout the entire book. Because it was such a cool concept I have not personally read before, the plot jumps and dead ends did not deter me from wanting to finish. I?ll read the next book in the series. This book is marked as RH, and at least in this story, none of that plays out with the main characters, but I could see where that ground work was trying to be laid for the future possibly. I?m giving 3 stars for the world building but I?d give it two stars for execution.

i absolutely can. ot wait for the next remnant gods. ook! it was like i was living i the book with lady vesper and deimos.

I love elle cross. this book was so amazing. vesper is an empath with secrets and she gets caught up in a murder mystery. she learns a lot about herself because of this though. I loved vesper so much. she was strong and capable on her own but didn't refuse help when she needed it. cant wait to see what she will get into in the next book.

Great setting that I really liked and an interesting story. But... this author really needs to work on the descriptionions of sex. This book would have been a strong four without them...
