I first read this book during the first lockdown and was absolutely blown away! Admittedly, I was skeptical about reading a fiction book written by a YouTuber, however I needn’t have been as this book is written stunningly. Melanie Murphy is one fabulous author. This book did have a few predictable parts, which were still a joy to read, but also many twists and turns. I found myself on the edge of my seat, rooting for Erin all the way. Imagine seeing your life if you had made different choices and the places they could have sent you...

Listen, I really wanted to like this book and I did until a point. Since I enjoy Melanie's youtube and look up to her I thought I would love this. But sadly it was very mid. I didn't love any of the characters, the main character I actually hated, she pissed me off a lot to the point where it wasn't enjoyable. Still I really liked the mysterium of the pendant and how everything unfolded in the end. A very interesting story and world building with good writing but mid characters.
