Altogether this book had a very memorable and interesting story line. It kept me interested the whole time and kept the plot moving. The aspect of romance in it didn’t take away from the story, which is the case for quite a few YA novels. It was amazing, and I think it can appeal to most age groups. Maybe not kids younger than 10 or 9, but I think all ages up can enjoy this series.

I hadn’t read an action-packed story for quite a while, and I felt a bit tired at times because my god, those children run and fight all the time! But it was a nice way to end the series. It was very creepy and intriguing, and I just wanted to know more. It was everything I expected and I didn’t get any massive surprise. It was just very nice. I’m happy with this ending and there’s nothing else to say, really.

A fun and fitting conclusion to the trilogy. I was terrified that Emma and Jacob were going to be separated at the end, but that tragedy, fortunately, was avoided. I hope Fiona reappears in the next volume, though.

One note: In the last chapter, Ransom Riggs used the word "disinterested" to mean "uninterested." This is a usage error some editor should have caught along the way. It was AMAZING!
I don't think there is a better ending to a series than the ending of this one!
I loved all the scenes in which Jacob controlled the hollows it was so well written and from the moment he first controlled them I was waiting for him to control them all and turn them against the evil guys.
Also the three books managed to surprise me with something I didn't expect. Bentham , I think was his name, surprised me, even though I didn't trust him, I still felt like he was just a crazy person.
The library scene was so interesting with Caul's clear insaness showing more and more was so well crafted!
Back to the ending...OMG they are aging normally again and he can finally live in both worlds which is the one thing the remained a constant worry in Jacob's mind through out the series!
Again it was awesome!!!
