Great, informative, and an immersive read- if you like feminist theory but don't like "boring" nonfiction books, this book will not disappoint!

A good enough book and a very, very easy read. I felt it focused too much on the stories of four women and not enough on the historical context of the issue. While there was much history included, it was done as an aside, not as the main focus, hence the book at times read as fiction vice nonfiction.

The idea seemed interesting but was more about the men that allowed it to happen than the women that paved the way.
