The Case of the Murderous Dr. Cream: The Hunt for a Victorian Era Serial Killer by Dean Jobb

Fascinating deep dive into Dr. Thomas Neill Cream, a Victorian serial killer. Dr. Cream poisoned his victims across three different countries, and time and time again, got away with it through his antics of blaming others, diverting scrutiny, and leaving the area. The skipping around between time periods got a little confusing, and I would have preferred a linear look at the story, but overall, well-researched and written.

This was a very entertaining true crime that took place in the Victorian era. It has shades of Sherlock Holmes.

I LOVED the narrator for this book! His British accent worked perfectly for this.
The book was fairly interesting and kept me engaged most of the time. It did get a bit wordy at points. The book had a good amount of depth, not too detailed but not surface level. I would have liked more of the psychology of Cream though.
Overall a very good book.
