Lots of flashbacks in this one. It ended on a cliffhanger which was not a pleasant surprise lol. I enjoyed the revelations about our characters. I’m super curious to see how the world progresses at this point. Like if all these “uncommon” things are happening and certain characters seem to have set things in motion, what’s the endgame ????? I need to know.

We finally get the backstory for the animosity between Manu, Carl, Ronan & Cheryl and boy is it sad, and intense. This one is dual timelines and leaves us on a massive cliffhanger.

I was most intrigued and excited for Karl and Manu and Cheryl and Ronan’s stories but man that cliffhanger and now the new book is delayed it was to be released yesterday so bummed I have to wait now god knows how long to see second part of these stories.
