When his pack is attacked by a fierce lone wolf, Storm, a strong wolf cub, must hide in the human world as a puppy. He finds Lily who agrees to hide him and Storm helps Lily in return. All Lily has ever wanted is a pony for her own. Will Storm be able to help Lily get a pony? And will the evil lone wolf Shadow come looking for Storm?
This is an interesting story full of magic that animal lovers will really enjoy. The concept of Storm having to hide himself as a puppy is intriguing and I can see young readers getting hooked on the series to find out what happens to him.
Lily is a likeable character and her love for horses is something that some young readers will be able to relate to. This really is a book for animal lovers and the antics that Lily and Storm get up to are amusing and fun.
Ideal for: young readers aged 6-9, especially animal lovers.
