Wicked Mafia Prince tells the story of Viktor and Tanechka.
Viktor is looking to bring down that an that was responsible to the death of his parents and he separation from his brothers.
In this book, Viktor and Aleksio (who reunited in book #1 in the series: "Dark Mafia Prince") are planning to infiltrate a house where woman are held against their will and sold to the highest bidder.
Viktor is in charge of monitoring the rooms where the girls are kept (their video feed is broadcasted world wide).
While monitoring the rooms, Viktor recognizes Tanechka.
Tanechka his lover, his partner and the woman he killed . Or so he thought.
Thus begins the journey to uncover Tanechka's true identity.
The premise of the book is promising but the start of the book is drawn out.
The action starts after Tanechka is rescued. It seems she lost her memories, but not her instincts as a lethal assassin.

Now Viktor will have to make her remember and forgive him before she kills him for betraying her.
"Wicked Mafia Prince" is an action packed book about a hero that seeks redemption, a heroine that keeps her faith and strength even in captivity, and above all, centers around family and the lengths people go to protect that family.

Return from the dead as a nun with amnesia.

Lots of threat about rape, human trafficking, abuse of people, organized crime violence.

I had such a good time with the first book in this trilogy. It was exactly what I wanted from a mafia romance. And when I started this book, I was so positive that this was going to top the first one. I loved Viktor in the beginning. I loved the drama. I loved Tanechka. I loved that she was a nun. I loved the amnesia trope. I thought for sure that this was going to be a bananapants good time. And then it just wasn't.
The only time they have sex is when she is drunk as a skunk... so yeah that's definitely consensual. -eyeroll-
Viktor learns literally nothing at all. There is zero grovel. He pays no penance for what he's done by torturing this woman into rebecoming her old self. And that fucking sucked! I realized recently that I read romance primarily for the grovel. When it's good, it's great for me. I just love those apology scenes. But he never apologizes. He never gives her what she wants. He just gets everything he's ever wanted while plowing through Tanechka's life and upturning everything, and that really pisses me off. She deserved so much more than what Viktor had to offer.

What I liked:
1. Viktor - I really enjoyed him in the previous book and this book as well. I love how he is with Tanechka, and his loyalty to his family.
2. The brothers - I am ALL over books that have brothers. I have probably have latent fantasies of getting caught in between all of them at the same time. :)
3. Mafia - I have a wet spot for all things Mafia.

What gave me pause:
1. Tanechka - The turn of events for her character just wasn't my thing. This is a personal preference issue. I think I would have enjoyed her character more if the turn of events had not happened to her (sorry for being so vague. I'm trying not to spoil.
2. The lack of sexy times. I'm a dirty bird, and I just need more, even if it was just a tease of more sexy times.
3. Overall, I thought the story was a little slow for me. Even as I was reading, I was hoping for MORE FEELS. And I think there was potential for more feels, but I just didn't get to that place. I constantly felt that there was something missing or something that wasn't happening for me.

I am probably in the minority for my opinions. I truly believe most people will love this book.

Tanechka and Viktor’s story was very intense. Tanechka has amnesia and Viktor does everything he can to help her regain her memories, even though that means she will remember what he did. This was a very emotional book because Tanechka feels very lost without her memories but doesn’t want to remember at the same time. She fears she is a bad person and doesn’t want to remember that.

Viktor is frustrated that she doesn’t remember him, and that she doesn’t want to remember. I got a little irritated with Viktor a few times. He was very pushy and refused to do anything that would make Tanechka feel comfortable. He just keep pushing her past on her and getting angry when she didn’t remember.

Overall, I really enjoyed the story though. I like this series and can’t wait to learn about Kiro.

I am seriously in love with this series. The danger, the excitement, the anticipation, the writing; everything keeps me glued to the characters and the storyline.

After getting a tiny peek into Viktor’s past in Dark Mafia Prince, I couldn’t wait to read more about his life in Russia and see what made him the way he is.

Viktor was such a mystery in Dark Mafia Prince. He’s quiet, but he has a presence about him and you know he can turn dangerous at any moment. He’s also tortured by having to kill his girlfriend and then finding out the truth after she died.

Watching Viktor suffer so much emotional turmoil after finding Tanechka again is heartbreaking. You feel every bit of his struggle and desperation.

Tanechka is also a mystery, both her past and her present, which makes her perfect for Viktor. She isn’t the same person she was before she was ‘killed’ and it is so interesting to see how her old and new life merge.

I loved the memories of their past and how they interact with one another. Considering that she is an apprentice nun, it went at a great pace and it worked for me.

As much as I love this series, I need more answers! I need to know how and when they are going to find Kiro, I need to know how they are going to defeat Bloody Lazarus, and so much more.

I am waiting with bated breath until October when Savage Mafia Prince is released.

This was a wonderful contemporary romance, though I'm thankful that it had much more action than the first book.

Viktor was heartbroken. He killed the love of his life, Tanechka, because she had betrayed their people. It was only after her death that the truth was revealed: there was no betrayal. Deeply remorseful and battling survivor's guilt, Viktor is grateful to have his brother, Aleksio, and puts everything he's got into finding their baby brother, Kiro.

This story centers around taking down Valhalla, a significant source of Lazarus's money. Viktor becomes fixated on a nun that is being held because she bears a striking resemblance to his lost love. Turns out she really is Tanechka. With amnesia. After rescuing her, he tries to help her recover her lost memories while he attempts to forgive himself for what he did to her.

A great story about love, loss and absolution!
