Don't think I've ever highlighted so many passages within a single book. Hilariously relatable, hilariously cringe at times. Fully read the sex toy chapter on public transport. No shame whatsoever. I regret nothing. Easily the best thing I've read all year.

Samantha Irby narrates the audio herself and it is a treat. Months later, I will be driving, and have a strong flash back to how I felt listening to her essay in that moment.

"I just can't do the requisite I love baby animals and trying out new cuisine and pretending to 'live everyday to its fullest' - which doesn't really mean anything anyway. I watch TV all day and leave the house only for snacks; this is the fullness that I am living."
I LOVE HER. I LOVE HER WRITING: IT IS SO FUNNY AND HONEST AND BRILLIANT. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
