I thought Wrath died in book 1 in the last chapter apparently not if he was being mentioned in the second book of the series but how can he got killed and be in this second book was kinda a confusing to me cause once you are dead you can't come back to life. Something is wrong with this author cause for saying for the genres it's young adult and new adult cause in one of the first few chapters there was the fuck word and also I saw that again in another chapter as well and talking about sexually instead of labeling it as young adult it should have been marked as new adult. I am giving this book of the series a 2 stars why must be a sexual content thru out the book and I am sure it's going to be like this in the last book of the this series if the author wanted young adults to read this series don't put in the genre for new adult if you want to target younger people and if I had a child and they asked me if they can read this series I would tell them no. It is unless you are at the age where you can read it. And why is there a need to say my twin again why can't she say my sister or the sister's name why does she have to say my twin that word is getting played out thou out the series and I am sure the word twin is going to be used once again in 3rd book. And also why did it take to long for the first sentence to start at the beginning of the book or doubling the voices was also annoying if these books weren't part of a series I would have stopped reading this since the second books was so bad.

Hmm this was an interesting experience. It's been two days since I read it though. So I'll keep it short.
I thought this was a duology and was surprised by how it ended. So it's a triology. And that's great because I'd love to see more of Emilia, Wrath
Spoilerand Vittora
.

So I was not surprised by this book.
SpoilerI knew Wrath -Samael- was the devil since the minute I laid eyes on him. I knew it. I was just waiting for the confirmation.
What I didnt expect was that Sam(sorry lol) would actually have feelings for Emilia. I thought that he'd betray her again. That he had no feelings for her and it was not gonna be a HEA. Happens, right?
Buuut I was wrong. This story is definitely a HEA and thats no spoiler because even a basic reader wold know that. And I'm glad because I do ship Wrath and Em. WELL, kind of. I'll get to that later.

There is this other thing I didnt expect.
SpoilerI knew Vittoria couldnt be dead. Not so soon. It was at the back of my mind because I know Kerri's writing style from Jack the Ripper and she plots very well. But I did not expect her working with Antonio and him calling her an Angel. And so now I think Vittoria is the villain. Wouldnt be surprised.

But what annoyed me the most is how Wrath treated Emilia earlier. I did NOT like it and I have havent forgiven him still. Just because
Spoiler Emilia is his fiancee
, doesnt mean he can misuse her. Torture her, YES that was pure torture the first time they trained. I wouldve punched him right in the face
Spoiler, devil or not
. I still hate him but might forgive if he tries to earn it.

Hell...was not what I was hoping for. I imagined it as dark hole or something but in this book, it's actually fertile. And you go into it though a cave and it's prison doesnt have guards! But it was well explained.

There is mild character development in this book and unlike all the other triologies ive read, I dont think I feel it like a void. Not a gap filled between first and last book. This book is necessary to form the main plot so its important in the triology.
Thus I loved this book very much. Totally worth reading and cheers to Kerri for writing it. Please publish the next book soon, I'm dying already lol.

Reread: I live for this shit. Gobble gobble gobble

4.5/5 Very good very good. Had lots of our questions answered but also not all. The only bad thing is I read it immediately and will have to prolly wait a year for the next one. Sure it might get a lil repetitive and made me angry how wrath like would never answer her question or lie from omission but like this book was overall fun and that’s what I’m looking for. love the that it’s now NA and I love their relationship I’m just waiting for Emilia to hopefully use her magic in the next book a lot more
