At the risk of sounding annoying and pompous, this book added nothing to my knowledge.
I know it's not entirely a science book, it's 75% comical. I still thought I would get something out of it. I also didn't find it all that funny, but I guess I'm not in an optimal mood to read a comic-ish book.

Funny, bizarre, interesting, sort of educational. Just an entertaining light-hearted read.

I've always enjoyed the xkcd comics, so I'm not surprised I enjoyed this book. It's funny, entertaining, and surprisingly educational despite dealing with "absurd hypothetical" questions. Munroe has a great way with words, making even the most technical discussions accessible. The pop-culture references are spot on, as are the puns. I highly recommend taking the time to read the footnotes - there are some crackers!
