Cozy vibes. Although stakes were high, our MCs really didn’t seem to be too affected by it most of the time.
And for how old Agatha is, why doesn’t she have more of a plan to help the peasants than set fashion trends and exist??
The moments I loved the most were of Grimm, his past and Agatha truly seeing him.

The attention to detail in describing the atmosphere. The building of each character. The amazing storytelling of the plot. I developed a connection with the characters and I can't wait to read more of the series. Loved it!1

Was going to give 3 stars until the sex scene at the end. "Her honeyed, silken warmth" GAG. GAG. GAG. "She stroked the length of him". "He slipped into her..." "He found her wetness..." "With a wicked kiss, he slipped into her, and the world erupted in sparks." What is this? Hallmark/Disney?

This was the SLOWEST book I've ever read. It could've been a novella and I might have loved it. There was so much USELESS information and descriptions. Literally, the only interesting part is the last 2 chapters. But it wasn't interesting enough for me care about the next 4 books.

Glad I pushed through! It didn’t really suck me in from the beginning, but it ended up being a very pleasant read.
