That wrapped up the story so nicely! I would have loved an epiloge of a relaxing time after all that bloodshed, but we are getting 4 more books so perhaps my wants will be fulfilled with them.
The character growth was incredible - a natural progression without feeling too convenient.
I will 100% be re-reading these books.

Best of the series
Definitely the best book of the series. All the story lines were wrapped up. The story was engaging and entertaining.

Woo! What a ride. Even though I was able to guess the “twists” in this book, that didn’t take away from the emotion when things happened! The end had me crying. This series was an amazing find.

I agree with the other ratings in that this book started off slower due to Norah's grieving period. However, it was a necessary device to establish the INSANE stress the last 30% of the book gave me.
I read this book in less than a day because it was so incredibly riveting. No one is safe.
But also it's completely not what you will expect at all. I cannot recommend this series enough.
Easily one of my top series of 2023.

And here we are on the last book. Couldn’t put it down. I was having to walk down the street while reading. Bumped into a few people

Absolutely cried at the ending.
Really wish we had an epilogue or a few more chapters after that ending because I just need more please :(

I could not love this whole series more! The world-building was seamless throughout all three books, and the author filled out all the characters phenomenally! Each book felt like sitting down around a cup of tea and catching up with old friends. It was truly a delight to grow with the characters as well, learning and evolving compassion where there previously was none and respect and strength where needed. The only possible fault was that I'm selfish and I want MORE of their story!!!! All of them!!! I want to know what else is in the wilds and follow the next generations as well!! We need at least 3 more books in this series!
