Great intro to a new MC series by this author. Trip and Stella both had issues the reader could relate to and understand. The chemistry and banter - hot. Sex - hot.
Additonal characters rebuilding their lives - loved it.
It was the grammar. Trip's inability to use I in a sentence killed it for me.

I didn't think it was possible that I could love something more than the Dirty Angels. I was wrong. This series started out pretty much perfect. I knew when I started this that it would take a bit more to fall in love with it because unlike the Dirty Angels, the Blood Fury MC would be starting from scratch so there would need to be the details of how that came to be.

This first book was the foundation of a great start of an MC. Slowly, the groundwork was formed and the names of the men that most likely will get their own books in order to tell their story and expand the series. I liked the details that went in to creating this. From the descriptions of the clubhouse, to the characters themselves. I haven't seen this approach before in regards to MC and I have to say that I liked it. I am not sure I would have liked it as much if it wasn't this author that had done it. I say this because this author has a talent for creating MC stories, so I know what she is capable of doing.

I enjoyed getting to know Trip in the other series but I really liked what he stood for in this one. Stella was perfect too. their connection went back a long way and I liked watching it grow. What kept this from being perfect is that I wanted more from them. There was so much focus on setting the foundation that it lost a little of this being their story too. This disheartens me a little because I don't want them to be shorted on getting their story when the other characters get their own books in which the focus is on their stories being told.

If you are a fan of MC then this is book and this author should be included. She is one of a select few that I have her releases scheduled in as soon as they are announced because I never want to miss out.

I tried my hardest to get to the end of this book, but it was too awful to continue. Trip drove me absolutely crazy I swear he never let Stella speak, I don't know about you just I don't normally sleep with men who won't listen to a single thing I say and then get angry when I'm upset about it. awful, the whole "relationship" felt way too possessive, I have nothing against possessive characters, but at some point it starts to become abusive.

Blood & Bones: Trip
Blood Fury MC, Book 1
By: Jeanne St. James
Narrated by: Ava Lucas, J. F. Harding

Jeanne St James has a way of pulling me into her MC worlds and nothing else around me matters. I become involved in the story and can't stop listening. This is her first book in the new Blood Fury MC series and I am sold. Trip is determined to rebuild the Blood Fury MC back up from the mess his father left. Bad reputations, memories and tragedies all have left this to be a huge undertaking for a club of one member. Now to resurrect some of the members, start new legitimate businesses and rebuilding their reputation. Stella owns the bar, and Trip is ready to have the club work with together with her again. Resistance is met, but an overwhelming chemistry is there. Does Trip need to take on a woman as well as the club? What a start! Love Trip. He is a determined man in every sense of the word. Stella is feisty and stubborn, and I love her little bit of vulnerability. Meeting new/old members is exciting and I just can't wait to see where St James takes us as the club takes root. I am in for the long haul!

St James always picks the best narrators for her books. I think she hears their voices as she writes because they are always a perfect fit! Ava Lucas is Stella, and is absolutely spot on! Spirited, passionate, strong willed, she has all the nuances to make us love and understand Stella. JF Harding as Trip could not have been better cast. He has that command in his voice, letting us know just who Trip is and the determination is evident. Love these two together, they make a fabulous team!

This was a unique MC read and I loved every moment. I was so happy to see Trip rise up and try to right some serious wrongs.

Resurrecting the past and hoping for a brighter future puts Trip back in time. When his father was the head of the Blood Fury MC it was destroyed because of greed, illegal activities and dissension in the ranks. It is up to Trip to not only make the Blood Fury an MC to be proud of but to also give those who were born into the MC a chance to have something of there very own while at the same time bringing Stella back into the folds. But Stella wants no part of the MC - she just wants Trip in her bed. Can Trip get it all? Can he be the President his father should have been? With a brand new series Jeanne St. James once again proves that she is the queen of the MC. Wonderful characters that have numerous layers, a storyline that has strength and grit and the beginnings of a new era that I cannot wait to read more of makes this a fabulous read.

In my opinion, a popular mistake of motorcycle romances is that they rely too heavily on jargon to build characters. You can't just have your biker say "p***y, sled, or scratch" and rely on that to convince me that he's a bada** biker. Show me who the person is; he's more than his slang. Also, every biker doesn't have*to*speak*in*incomplete*sentences; add nouns to your verbs!! Oh, that drove me crazy!!!

Also, why does Trip talk about his a****** being puckered all the time? That's gross.

(Y'all don't lose hope, the other books are better. Just skip the first one.)

A very interesting great start to another great series from Jeanne. I enjoyed reading this one so much I purchased the paperback version. I loved Trip. He is a bad boy trying to reform himself to something good. He comes back to his hometown to take over the land, property and start over the MC his father was a part of that fell apart. But it isn't going to be so easy. He runs into an old friend right off the bat and he should have known from her bite that things were going to be easy for him. But he wont give up on what he wants including her. There was some very touching moments in this one. I absolutely love when Jeanne does that in a intriguing mind blowing book. She adds moments that make you take a breath and step back from the book because it is a touching moment that pulls at the heart string. I absolutely love Trip and Stella again. They both have quite the past that they are working through. They both need each other to work through that past. The chemistry between these two is off the wall hot. I cant wait to read more about Sig and Judge. I can guarantee this will be another amazing series if this one is any indication of that. Highly recommend.
