Another non-fiction fave :”) this book is so good and it feels like a warm hug. If “Everything I know about Love” has an older sister, this is the book. It’s like listening to a podcast but in book form, you get to see other people’s perspective on love.

The book started off quite promising with the author's introduction but especially the second chapter about sustaining love seemed to drag on forever. It got better in the end but overall I felt like it was just absolutely not the book for me at this time in my life. I have never been married, never wanted to have a child, and never had to grieve someone dear to me (thank god), so I expected this to focus more narrowly on the love we experience in relationships, which is advice I had been looking for but did not find in this book. I can understand why for someone who maybe had a miscarriage too or lost a loved one, this book would be a five-star read. To me, it just felt a bit repetitive and I didn't gain much insight at all. A lot of the themes that were discussed also didn't feel groundbreakingly new to me at all. I was hoping for more of a Dolly Alderton vibe, a little humor maybe. But the vibe was not vibing.

I truly believe everyone would get something out of this book. This books features interviews with some of your favorite authors interwoven with stories of Natasha’s own journey of love. I highly recommend the audiobook which has all the authors included reading as themselves.

Algunas observaciones me re sirvieron para pensar la vida de una manera distinta, pero otras son tan simples que me sorprende que exista gente tan privilegiada e ignorante en este mundo.
