Oh my!! I love this book, Aeron and Trixe's story was so good. Their story didn't start out like the other books. They accepted each other as mates a lot better than some of the others. Aeron dirty talking and throat grabbing was the best. Loved that the crows and slaugh showed up a lot more in this book and can't wait for more of them. But.. that ending... oh my.. the next book needs to hurry up!

“Wasn’t that what every soul craved? To have someone they loved sitting by their side until the end?”

Aeron and Trix’s story is one of patience, understanding, acceptance and endurance.
I found their journey one of the sweetest of the series actually. Aeron had a rough upbringing and Trix was very manipulated before, so they both have some hard time trusting people. But they find themselves stuck in a foreign place for a few weeks so they begin to understand that to survive they must try to trust each other. As they begin to do so, their bond starts to become stronger and they discover that maybe what was forced on them brought them together and made them stronger.
Their chemistry is amazing and seriously I don’t know how Lana has made all these couples that just are prefect for each other every single book! Cannot wait to read the next book and unfold all the unsolved questions in the series!

(I received and ARC copy of this book - the opinions are my own)

As someone with ADHD I found Trix very relatable. She and Aeron have an incredible connection and partnership.

I can’t wait for the next book to see how Leaf’s story unfolds!

Definitely my favorite of the series so far even after a reread. The audiobook is amazing! Jake Bordeaux & Bridget Bordeaux did a fenomenal job bringing Aeron & Trix to life. 🥰
I loved Trix & Aeron together and I can’t wait to see more of them in future books.
I loved everything about this story and I can’t wait for AWORAR.

I’m pretty sure this book is my favorite of the entire series. It was very different from others and I liked it.

We also finally know some things! The prologue of this was very interesting and later on we got some answers and I’m excited to see where this is going.

I loved Trix. She’s a bit all over the place and I loved it. She’s also smart. She has the brains to build whatever its needed but she’s also smart in the way that she sees through people. I appreciated it immensely that she didn’t fall for the other faes machineries and believe the person she was side by side every single day since they met.
I loved Aeron so much, he’s a precious bean. He’s grumpy and standoffish at the beginning but he had reasons to. A lot happened to him back to back. I loved how Trix also picked up on it in some level and she saw that he had a heart of gold.

There’s also a mystery of sorts with Leaf and I want to know if my theory is right!
The eulogy to the king and queen was beautiful. I couldn’t hold the couple tears that fell down.
The epilogue ( the very last couple pages of the book) was scary and I’m afraid for Willow. Apparently a lot has been happening in Crystal City and none is good and Willow is in the middle of it unbeknownst to Rory.
I hope Leaf’s book is the next one in the series even though I’m not very happy with him at the moment.

Aeron who is recently deaf from the demogorgan heads out not to find his mate but to tell her he cannot accept her due to his deafness. The Tinker is trying to escape from the Autumn Court, Nero and the Guardians. I liked how these two collided. Aeron’s mission gets derailed when the Tinker is injured. I loved how the Tinker never saw Aeron’s deafness as something that needed to be fixed but instead taught him sign language so they could communicate. Didn’t quite see how the Prime has been positioning all the guardians for many years on this one specifically. Pieces are falling into place.

The GASP I GESPED.

Did I binge the entire series until I couldn't? Fuck yes.
Do I know what day it is? No.
Am I about to re-read this until the next one comes out? Absolutely.

I have no idea where to begin, I was obsessed with this dynamic again! Having a FMC that so closely related to myself is new to me and fuck was she written well.

I can't even pick apart the plot yet...  Its just this series is my absolute favorite. My roman empire.
