I think I liked the first book more but this was still a fun read! Severin needs to get his act together because Laila deserves better but also this whole godhood thing is interesting but he's messing a bunch of stuff up so he's moved down in my favorites list but I hope he fixes it.

I liked the first book a little better. I liked this one a lot, but I missed Tristan and Severin was acting real crazy in this book. I’m also getting frustrated with the way the “bad guys” always come in and ruin everything right at the end! It reminds me of “A Series of Unfortunate Events and that uncle Olaf.
