An interesting and well researched book that shows how bias affects us in our daily lives. Eberhardt focuses on race but notes other biases affect us as well. She gives detailed accounts of studies that have been conducted and includes stories from her own life and the news. This book is eye opening and thought provoking and needs to be read and discussed. The author narrates the audio version - it took me a little while to get used to her style but, once I did, I enjoyed it.

This book was so good and thought provoking. I loved the personal stories mixed in with the research.

1) good discussions
2) a lot of statistics and tests were discussed
3) love personal experience shared
4) trying to hit too many points at the same time : black race, Asian, immigration, discrimination at schools, gender discrimination.
5) wish there were some suggestions of what can we do better to avoid being biased
