As a 12yo girl, I was IN LOVE with this book. It has so many elements that a teen girl would love, however, if you are not a part of this audience, I can totally understand why you wouldn't like it. I remember rereading each path literally 3 times each because it was just so relatable, summery, and had plenty of good vibes.

It's been years since I've touched this book yet the memory of it makes me wince. It's so bad. I picked this up from the annual book fair in year 4 because it looked nice and a 'choose your own story' type book intrigued me. I couldn't finish this book because I actually had standards, and this managed to break them. Liked the concept and really, really wanted to like the story but couldn't bring myself to.
p.s. Frankie is the worst.

This was a classic book for me when I was 11 or 12. I thought the way this book was setup was revolutionary, and I think this was partially because I had never seen this done before but now I've seen it done a lot and it isn't as special as it used to be.

The story was perfect for little old me. I didn't have to think too hard when reading, which was perfect, because at the time I wasn't into reading and was only starting to become more interested - this book was a good transition.

I haven't really gotten much to say about this book - mostly because its been over 5 years since I last read it.

Good read for anyone wanting to get back into reading - though it is marketed at a much younger audience.

Dang. I enjoy the heck out of choose your own adventure style books. This one is a cute fluffy teen summer romancish book. I recommend the beach storyline a little more than the London storyline. But yeah worth a read if you want something light and wholesome. :)
I picked the Frankie Goes to the Beach with her Dad, Frankie goes to the Party, and Frankie Tells her Dad the Truth story line for my first read through.
After reading through all of the Frankie Goes to the Beach with her Dad story options I almost don’t want to read the Frankie Goes to London story line. The dynamic of Frankie, her dad, and his girlfriend and daughter is so sweet as they try to figure out how to “live and get along with each other. Also Luke seems really sweet and I am suspicious about this Jack character who broke her heart. Can he really live up to the bar that has already been set?
So kind of? I wasn’t as wild about the London story part. I liked the story line where Frankie got to spend a lot of time Jack and ended up with him. I guess :/ The rest of the story lines involved Frankie getting stuck in between other people’s drama which was uncomfortable for her and me.
