I’m invested. I wanna see how this is gonna play out. I was a bit confused in the beginning tho. Felt like things was all over the place and it was hard understanding but reading further I started to piece things together. This a new to me author but I have heard good things.

Interesting

I'm definitely interested in reading more about the MOA cartel. This prequel has me invested in the love triangle that is Issac, Sky, and Geu! Can't wait to read more!

I’m not sure how I feel yet. While I understand that this was a prequel to lay the groundwork for the beginning of the series- all the details felt a little rushed to me. The end did kind of suck me in and I’m interested to see how things play out. Sky annoyed me with how he was treating Geu. She loved him but he wasn’t giving her any play. Isaac gave her the things she was missing romantically..it will be interesting to see how the tables turn.

Even with the errors, this story and this series is guaranteed to pique any reader’s attention.

I was a fan of the Underworld series and now I am a fan of the MOA cartel. It gives me Underworld teases...I’m getting Nasir King vibes from Sky! Geu can be a “Lauren” at times...But they are most definitely not the same...Geu is NOT one of them lol. I’m loving the fact that this is a tight knit crew...I love crew type tropes. Just like in UW, we have a snitch that threatens to crumble the whole org. I enjoyed my UW journey in figuring out “whodunnit” so I imagine that this will be no different. UW was one of my favorite and most memorable reads of 2020...I foresee MOA being the same for 2021.

In Nako’s Reading Group, I was asked how do I feel about Nako’s return to Urban? And to that I say “
