Sooo cute! I relate to Quinn so much and absolutely loved her! And Landon was so swoony! I love the growth you see from both characters through out the story. Both of them are struggling after their divorces and end up understanding each other better than anyone else can. I loved all the little moments between them and all the Christmas things! Give this cutie Christmas romance a try!

This was a really cute book about two divorcees finding love again. Great character arcs and a fun setting. I loved the forced proximity with an allergic reaction and a power outage.

Quinn is a social media influencer that bakes. Landon is a lawyer. Both are recently divorced. She gets hired by his sister Nikki, who is also a social media influencer, to bake her center pieces for her wedding. Quinn is a resident in California and when she accepted the job she didn’t know it was in a different state but she finally agrees to travel after a little convincing. When Landon travelled back to his home state he realized his house was not alone and someone else was living there… it was Quinn.

The next scene right there is the reason why i gave it 5 stars and it’s not even half of it, y’all have to read it all. The angst at the beginning was everything to me, the fake dating lasted a few chapters but idc it was good to me. I was looking for a cute fast christmas book to read and this is exactly what it gave me.

“You’re right. It’s hard to know for certain. But with a few more scenarios, I think you’ll get it.” I smacked my outside hand down onto his thigh, giving it a light squeeze. “This is platonic.” I loosened my grip and let my hand slowly and gently slide to his knee. I kept it there, rubbing my thumb in small circles. “Intimate.” He gave a slow nod. I bumped my foot against his. “Platonic.” My foot came to rest against his, and I seductively ran it along his and leaned into him, pretending I didn’t feel a surge of excitement course through me. “Intimate.”  His eyes narrowed. “I think I’m getting it. Maybe a few more examples.”

This was a really sweet story. I’ve been really enjoying this series, because they’re essentially Hallmark movie style, but with a bit better plot lines. Sweet and romantic while also being an incredibly easy read.

Jess Heileman fans rejoice!

Everything you've loved about Jess' regency writing...can now also be experienced in her debut into the contemporary Rom Com genre!

This book starts off right from the beginning sucking you into to Quinn's insecurities and also her strengths that make her individual and unique. Landon will be making you deep sigh every paragraph, and these two together will have you laughing out loud one paragraph and swooning the next!

This book is a fast paced, page turning, sleep stealing wonder! I can't recommend it enough! This is the holiday read you've been waiting your entire life for and here are a few reasons why:

-True Crime Obsession
-Panic Induced Over-Thinker
-Frying Pans
-Baking
-Great Banter-especially when the words wont stop lol
-Forced Proximity/Fake Dating/Friends to More
-Two Divorcees with a lot in common
-Loveable Side Characters

This book comes out November 9 and I'm adding it to my review so you can calendar appropriately. **cereal for dinner is completely acceptable this day, just incase you needed someone to validate that ;)**

Thanks to the author for the copy. All thoughts in this review are my own.
