Each volume makes me fall in love more and more, and I especially love this fourth one. I felt so connected to Charlie and his mom's relationship, how they weren't the type to talk about emotional stuff, and I'm honestly really jealous of how close Nick is to his mom. Every relationship in this series has its ups and downs, but they have each other, they support each other, they are willing to overcome them, and it's all so beautiful. I envy them, truly.

Another cute installment in their story! I really like how Oseman is working in themes of mental health and how seriously they are taken. It makes me super happy to see teen stories about mental health being taken seriously and accurately.

Lol I didn't expect to like this series so much

Literally where do I even begin with what I love about this?
  1. Charlie and Nick's relationship is one of the most healthy and wholesome relationships I've ever seen
  2. Beautiful art style and character design
  3. Tactful incorporation of mental illness
  4. Your romantic partner (let alone your 16-year-old romantic partner) can't carry the weight of your mental illness, but they can be there for you and listen.
  5. Nellie is cute
  6. Did I mention Nick and Charlie's relationship is incredibly wholesome and healthy?
  7. Because it is
