This might be my favourite book in the series. It handles mental health issues and codependency in relationships in such a gracious way. I absolutely love it, and wish I had read it back when I was a teenager, because it would definitely have opened my eyes to the issues I was going through.

In Heartstopper: Volume Four, Oseman delves the most deeply into the series' toughest themes: Charlie's eating disorder and mental illness. Paradoxically, though, I felt just as much joy to read this as the other volumes because, first and foremost, I felt so thankful that this story exists for teens and young adults. It also really made the series' core relationship between Charlie and Nick resonate even more deeply-- Nick's unwavering support for Charlie, his helplessness at watching someone he cares about suffer, and Charlie's journey to asking for support and help and finding community that will lift him up was all just wonderful and moving. Loved it.

Heartstopper Volume 4 is an amazing book, and my favourite in the series so far! They are an amazing set of books and I’m honoured I got to read them! I love how Oseman deals with mental health and how she recognises that different treatment helps different people!

In volume 4 of heartstopper some difficult topics are brought up and it shows that when you surround yourself with the right people there will always help. This volume was more about the characters as individuals as oppose to their relationship. It helps you connect and feel for the characters separately. There were also some amazing tools on how to help people going through mental illnesses or even if you are going through something. Overall a book that brought many emotions.
