I honestly think that "Wonder" is one of the best books I've read in several years. I was laughing and crying and oh my god, it is just so amazing!

I’m so glad I decided to finally read this one, the story will definitely stick with me for a long while. The multiple POV-decision was a surpise for me in the beginning but imo it made the whole thing make sense so well.

What a fantastic read. I loved how the story was told from many points of view, and still maintained its focus on Auggie and the wonder of his life. Inspiring. I will read this again with my children when they are older.

"You can't blend in, when you were born to stand out"
Oh my Gosh, buku ini sangat menyentuh.
Awalnya byk dukanya, kecewa, marah, semua bercampur jadi satu. Disini kita disuguhkan perspektif dr Auggie, kakak Auggie Via, teman Auggie Jack & Summer, teman Via, Miranda, juga pacar Via, Justin, semuanya berputar di dumia Auggie, bagaimana penerimaan mereka thd kondisi Auggie.
Dan yg paling luar biasa menurutku adlh org tua Auggie. Biasanya ak paling ANTI sama yg namanya parenting, tapi buku ini mengajarkan aku byk hal, sangat mengharukan..

Wonder tells the story of a boy names August who was born with facial difference. He was always safe guarded at home by being homeschooled and living a sheltered life. That is until his mom decides that it is time August attend school. As he begins the 5th at Beecher prep August realizes the hardships that come from being apart of school. But has August grows and continues on with school he learns what it feels like to have true friends. And in return the school learns to look past physical aspect and appreciate people for who they truly are.

I absolutely loved this book. Honestly it was so raw and I felt my heartbreaking at times. This is the type of book everyone should read no matter their age. It teaches the universal message that you should always look for the good in others. If I ever have the opportunity to teach this book in a classroom I would love that. It is a novel that will always keep your attention due to the different narrators and creativity with each perspective.

Warning book contains: mean children and parents that like to bully others.

This was a very quick and easy read. While it is a "middle school" book, I think it is one for all ages. It would be an interesting book club selection, many points to ponder (I know I wouldn't mind discussing a few things). I did find myself highlighting a lot ...that is a sign on a book making an impact on me. I really enjoyed the shifts in point of view. I felt an emotional connection and found myself wiping away tears throughout the book. It's one I will look back on fondly.
