Revisiting an old childhood fave is always hit-or-miss, but this one was a hit. I remember this particular Goosebumps installment being the first to truly scare me, and even though it did not frighten me now as it did in elementary school, I felt compelled to finish it in one sitting; I couldn’t wait to see how it ended. I’m happy to report that this book has withstood the test of time.
