I really enjoyed this finding yourself when all of your friends have left and you're struggling mentally. I found the mental health aspect of this to be really great. I loved that representation. I think that the tough topics were covered in a way that seemed like the way a teenager would have handled them. I wasn't wild about April as a character but I know it is likely a real type of friend you may have. I found that her behavior was just as hard to watch as winnies. I did enjoy the art and the comic within a comic.

I liked how Winifred’s internal thoughts were turned into images and zines - I was able to feel her distress. I also thought it was really creative to include the zines in the book. Part of me wants to know where Winifred’s relationships go from here, but I think it works being left open-ended too.
