The birth of Hakim’s son was so nice! When Najmeh, his wife got to move to France with her parents , I thought Hakim would  really make it to France with the lawyer. I was so angry that he messed up the papers. It was kind of crazy him trying to survive in Turkey, trying to learn how to take care of his son, and his father’s death was terrible. I don’t understand how people can recover after so many devastating events.

Tears dusting my eyes with the author and Hakim on THE page.
Classic book! Great journal piece! Can't wait to go to the library branch tomorrow to get the last volume.
