I got a copy of this from netgalley, because it sounded really interesting and the title is clever. The story was cute. I liked the way the two heroes met, and I loved the noir writing at the beginning of the book. However, the noir writing didn't last and then the art just got weird. Maybe it's a testament to one of the originals? I've never read either one, but I just didn't think it was good. I did like that never having read one of the original versions before, I was able to pick up and follow the story.
