Short and sweet. A bit of an unrequited love, but it all worked out. Would have liked it better if the hero had had secret feelings for her from the beginning though, not just suddenly realise that he loves her when he sees her again after 3 years.

This was a good, steamy age gap romance. I liked the sort of forbidden nature of the romance, Conrad was Emma’s teacher when she first fell for him. But I liked the fact that the story really took place after she finished school so it was only the perception of forbidden. Their chemistry was amazing and I enjoyed the story.

Felt more like lust than love the entire time, including the epilogue.

Emma, the female lead, had a crush that was appropriately abruptly rejected by Conrad, the male lead, in her last year of high school. Now, three years later, he’s bringing students to the library where she works. She still wants him. He can now acknowledge she’s attractive…

This short story is dual POV, well written, and a cute, hot, fun read.
