I wouldn’t say this is a thriller but it was a good story and drew me in. I liked how there were multiple narrators that each played their own character as it made it easier to follow along with. Speaking of narrator, Brittany who is the voice of Krystle, makes me think of the actress who plays Tansi from Hart of Dixie and that was all I could picture for the rest of the book. Maybe it was the speed I was listening to but I really thought it was her!
I’d say 75% of the book is a slow burn and mainly just talked about the rich women of Buckhead. The last bit is definitely where the action is and left me quite surprised. I really did not see the ending coming! I took one star off my review just because I felt like the ending was a bit rushed compared to the rest of the story and it made it a bit difficult to follow along with. I had to listen to it a couple times just to truly understand what happened.

The slowest burn I've ever read from a thriller. Only picked up at the 7 hour mark. Which is a little unfortunate that you spend 7 hours listening to only get 2 hours of intriguing action.

This was like if an episode of Law and Order met Desperate Housewives. It was pretty slow up until like 70% then I finished it in one sitting.

Really liked this book! Definitely gave me Big Little Lies vibes (the show, at least)

Ooh this was funnn. I LIVE for drama like this. The audiobook cast was excellent.

Basically the whole thing is there's lots of juicy juicy drama and you know someone is dead but you don't know who is dead. It's very Housewives of wheverever...Upper class and middle aged - these women love to gossip and lie and spend money.

TBH, one of my biggest gripes was this HIGH END salon only had TWO employees - absolutely not. AND these very rich women were getting regular polish instead of acrylic of gel-x on their nails - absolutely not. ANYWAYS, I read [listened] to this really fast and really liked it.

My Thoughts:
This was the first book I have read by Jeneva Rose and it did not disappoint.  The ladies in this story are a train wreck that you cannot look away from, and vengeance is served in the most delicious way.

Admit I’m a bit conflicted about the morality throughout the story, but if I ignore that, I can justify enjoying it.
