"you write one thing in order to talk about something else" Is actually exactly the kind of book I like to read -- María Gainza folds revelations and not-simple hearts into what is kind of an art history lesson, and one where I was thrilled to be there. Thank you Erika for recommending this!!

"He chewed out his words as little as thought they were pearls, as though separating the real ones from the fake" -- every word here is a pearl I will gladly hold.

Semi-plotless ruminations/reflections on art and life. A weird little gem of a book.
