Reminded me of the Camelot Series by Sierra Simone, which I didn't enjoy. Seemed very similar.

This was also not very good. It just is missing something. The original couple ends here, and I stopped reading. I may continue the series with the sister but I needed to stop here bc the plot was losing it.

Une belle conclusion à cette trilogie ! Ce n’est pas de la grande littérature, mais ça se dévore ! J’ai aimé que l’accent soit mis un peu plus sur l’intrigue et qu’il y ait des conflits à régler entre les personnages sans avoir

It sounds like the final installment of the triad is packed with intense drama and emotional moments! The twists and turns with assassination attempts, kidnappings, and poisonings must have kept you on the edge of your seat. It's great to hear that despite all the chaos, the core characters—Theo, Galen, and Meg—remain united, with Isaac and Noemi possibly in their trusted circle. Ms. Robert's focus on love and bringing the characters full circle to where they began is a beautiful touch.

Didn’t like the miscommunication trope and it ended kinda quick but it was good

Once again, spicy as heck sex scenes.

I didn’t love the repeat descriptions of how hot Theo and Galen are. Like we get it, they’re hot. Meg is all about them. But the replay of describing them was excessive when it was done so much in the book prior. When you’re reading a series rehashing like that is cumbersome. This isn’t a standalone it’s a full fledged series so yeah, it just seemed like a lot of unnecessary filler. With that said, this story definitely did not need to cover two books. One would’ve been more than enough.

The pacing was so slow and there was so much back and forth going over the same issues making this feel like a much lengthier read than it actually is. Not a great book in that regard. And then you have the ending… what the fuck was that?! The booked moved so slow and the ending was so rushed. It’s weird as hell to go from their little proposal moment to three weeks later and Theo is just killing Dorian after ring shopping and that’s how it ends? Just like that?? And then you have the epilogue which really came out of left field with no concept of time at all. Talk about whiplash.

The ending absolutely sucked. There’s too much left open that could’ve been written. Left with a lot of questions and feeling like the story was incomplete.
