Not sure what to rate this one because I thought it was a bit odd but Savannah has asked me to read it repeatedly so apparently she loves it.

Nice job slipping in an Anne Carroll Moore, reference, Betsy! I quit choir because while I LOVE performing, I hate rehearsals. Lexy has the opposite problem - she freezes up on stage when it's time for a dance recital. She determines that if she teaches others to dance, she won't have to perform. But when a group of five furry blue giants come to her door seeking dance lessons, she isn't sure she'll be able to help them.
While I felt the disappearance of Lexy's stage fright was a bit abrupt, I enjoyed this story about how ANYONE can dance.

I appreciated the exuberance of the protagonist and the colorful illustrations, but the story lacked something I can't quite put my finger on.

Good for preschoolers, not 2 year olds. Use for dance story times or kids who need books on stage fright.

A good message about overcoming fear by helping others.
