My 14 year old self would've died to read this novel especially in a time where I didn't understand and though I was somehow broken. I saw a lot of myself in this novel yet, equally as much that was different from me. No asexual journey is identical but it was heartwarming and validating to read about Burgess' own experience with understanding this part of themself.
This novel also deals with anxiety attacks and OCD, however, I cannot comment on this representation.
Overall, a lovely wee graphic novel.
