As an ace person, it was nice to see experiences that have reflected some of my own thoughts growing up. It's also nice to see more content and visibility around being ace and some of the ways you can be under that umbrella. For it being a memoir tho it felt a little all over the place, with a lot of alluding to other things that affected the author's life, without diving in to them. While I understand why they might have taken that approach, it often felt distracting or confusing.

This graphic memoir is informative about asexuality, and an insightful window into the author's youth and struggles. I personally didn't love the art style, and found that the focus on asexuality was a bit muddled with the book's other themes of autism and OCD. I feel that the title mis-represents the story as a handbook to asexual people or their loved ones, while the story mostly focuses on Bex's personal story.
