bardzo mi sie podobała, miała wątek romantyczny, który był trochę na boku - nie w samym centrum (ja tak lubię), przez co bardziej o niego dbałam. nastrój wiedźm i potężnej, tajemniczej i nieokiełzanej mocy, był bardzo przyjemny, bo dodatkowo, wszystko było dość szczegółowo opisane co pozwalało w pełni zanurzyć się w tę historię.

A horrifying, chilling read filled with female rage, torment, pain and strength.
This book essentially screams ‘men are the worst’ from the first page until the last and brilliantly portrays the different- yet equally justified - reactions women have towards the oppression and pain put upon them by men.

Heavy on the abuse and trauma, light on the worldbuilding, in this story that tries to be a bit twisty and profound, but ends up feeling kinda lackluster and defeating. I have so many questions, but they all delve into spoiler territory, so I’ll just say, upon reflection, the story doesn’t hold together for me, and I’m not sure it’s worth enduring so much trauma for so little narrative payoff (and insufficient character development). 2.5 stars
